Enlightenment about killing. Oxymoron you say? Sunday, June 17th, 2007
You know it funny how there’s all these “enlightened” people out there who will tell you you are “bad” if you use weapons or kill anything.
Here are the following considerations for people who think this or who feel themselves persuaded by such propoganda.
First of all, everything dies. It is something that is inevitable. There is nothing wrong with it either.
It is what the death signifies that gives it the meaning “good” or “bad.”
In some cultures in is considered evil if one commits suicide. In others it can be applauded or welcomed (for example: if one loses face).
Death in battle for a good cause is considered worthy and worth reaching for in some cultures (native American, European, Germanic, Celtic, etc.).
Death protecting a child from abuse is considered honorable by many.
And there are many people who feel death of any sort is abborent and feel that saving any life –even if only on life support forever — is the best way to go.
Some do their best to try to stay alive forever no matter the cost.
Some mourn when young people die. Some are happy when old people who cannot care for themselves die.
Some even go so far as to say killing for food is evil, yet most of them will eat even plants — which die so they may live.
Death’s meaning is only a reflection of each person and culture’s belief systems.
Death itself is only part of the cycle of this planet. It in and of itself means nothing — only a change from one state to another.
Now, if you know anything about chakra’s (which it seems many people do these days.), there are 7 which rise from the base of the spine and are considered energy centers which keep in balance (if healthy) certain aspects of human life.
Root = survival, tribe, basic needs, and awareness of self
sex chakra= (even in the animal kingdom this is observed) once basic needs are met creativity results, the awareness expands beyond “here I am and how do I live” to ” wow, my belly’s full, I am warm and safe. I have some free time to explore my surroundings and improve my situation (creativity) –see how I can make things around me more enjoyable or easier. Reproduction at this point is viable because all basic needs are met to sustain life.
power chackra = this is where we begin to start caring about the community around us or realizing that a community around us could help us. gathering food, creating shelter, offering protection. How we relate to those people around us is determined by how healthy we are at this point.
Unhealthy lack of balance in this area equaling control and manipulation of others, fear of others controlling us, isolation
OR
Healthy balance equals good communication, sharing, influencing, growth, connection (especially in regards to sex –more connection than just f-ing), caring, comradery.
heart chakra = builds on the last chakra and includes love, charity, caring for those with less, accepting others where they are at, feeling of purpose in the world, feeling you can make a difference in making others lives better.
throat chakra = communicating your ideas to the world, putting yourself out there for others to see, self expression, action
third eye= the ability to see beyond what is present before your eyes. imagination, conceptualizing, seeing beyond the obvious, the sixth senses
crown chakra = connecting to a higher power, acknowledging that there is a higher power, spiritual matters, connection to light
Anyway, the whole point is how can you move “up the ladder” (some people do it backwards actually and it messes them up) if you do not feel SAFE (survival, root chakra)?
You don’t. You stay stuck in a survival level where no one and nothing else matters but yourself.
–If you are afraid all the time then your only God is fear. There is no energy left to think of higher things like kindness and caring.
You’re too busy trying to survive. To busy trying to keep away from or deal with the dangers in your world be it alligators or rapists.
Where, instead, if you have a plan of action, tools and knowledge to take care of it, then you walk through the world in confidence knowing you can take care of the dangers in your world.
Then you are calm, clear minded, have time to think, and time to care.
You can use your basic survival skills (for not getting killed or raped or your babies getting it) for higher good and since you have the confidence and energy to care you can use your skills to protect others who aren’t as skilled yet.
You can think about higher matters, and since you are confident that your own needs are met, you don’t feel upset by others having their needs met.
Everyone is much happier and functioning at a higher level — all because you know how to kill to protect yourself or feed yourself.
Killing to protect and eat are basic. So basic - life would not exist without them.
What would we do if suddenly all the prey animals in the world stopped protecting themselves in any fashion from predators.
The food chain would be destroyed. That is what would happen.
No babies would be protected by their mothers.
No bugs would be left to be eaten by the frogs, no frogs would be left to be eaten by the birds, no birds would be left to be eaten by the foxes, no foxes would be left to be eaten by the …….
Do you see?
Even plants would die. Many have self protective measures such as toxins, poisons, thorns etc. to damage and or kill their predators.
And many cannot reproduce without their seeds passing through various animals digestive systems to be activated. So through their death new life forms.
There is nothing wrong with the basic functions of the earth. That has been proved by just the length of this planet’s functioning.
If you allow it to function in it’s correct fashion then:
The food chain remains intact — and though some bunnies go to foxes, dingos, or coyoties; some live and reproduce.
There is still enough grass to grow wheat for the people to live — because enough bunnies died to not destroy all the crops by eating them all.
There can be wholeness in death. There can be wholeness in killing.
It is only right or wrong depending on how it is used.
And for those who want to transcend beyond that point then I honor your choice.
I sincerely hope you can live fully on water for the rest of your days.
But please refrain from judging those who are not at that point. Each person has a different path to enlightenment.
You cannot control that, and you cannot change that.
You can only teach what you have learned and assist others in their journeys. But remember that those you assist cannot ascend without first addressing the issues effecting each chakra level. And the root chakra involves survival and all that entails.
This site is for addressing those issues for women, so that they may create safety for themselves and move onward and upward in their lives.
If you wish to assist them, send your blessings out to all the people of the world who are fearing for their lives, that they may find peace (which could possibly mean learning how to use violence to protect themselves from harm), and relief.
