“I am proud to be a warrior woman.

I’m learning that strength, tenacity, power, assertiveness, confidence and that elusive self-esteem can be combined with femininity, style, class, composure, love, laughter and artistic expression.

A woman does not have to give up one thing to attain another. To be a woman is to be the most complex thinking and acting individual on the Earth. It is in all facets of being a woman that make her strong.

Rarely will anyone look at me and see the warrior inside. I’m not built like a typical warrior and have very limited physical strength; yet inside beats the heart and soul of one who has fought great battles and though scarred, has emerged victorious.

I carry my battle wounds proudly and what I have learned through those battles has enabled me to stand proud and strong and continue fighting the battles laid before me.

I love life and I cherish every day the good Lord gives me; no matter if it is one frought with pain or luminous with joy. Every day is a gift and I lavishly unwrap it every morning.”

Love,
Leah

This is exactly what I’m working to show other women they can be and have as well!  :)

It’s not about being a size 2 chick with massive  breasts and a gun. Or about being butch.

It’s simply a part of  being whole.
