My favorite Warrior woman sport!
Fencing! I LOVE it.
It’s absolutely addicting to spar with someone way better than me and finally being able to score a point.
It’s a challenge both physically and mentally. It gets my blood rushing and pumping and requires such cool calculation at the same time. And I’m good at it!
I always hated competition as a kid and never felt confident when it came to anything athletic, but somehow with fencing it’s all a blast!
Perhaps because there is no running involved.
I’ll update with an article in a little bit about some details on the sport, so anyone who is interested can have an idea of what it’s like.
I would love to hear what your favorite way to express your inner warrior is.
Do you enjoy boxing, fencing, martial arts, or something else? Perhaps you have more than one favorite…
What is it you enjoy most about it?
I can’t wait to see what you write!

What really gets the blood to flush in my weins is kickboxing!
I used to enjoy football (European) but running too much back and forth all the time - and then get punished for just “pushing” another player wasn´t me,- I had to find something else where I would not get that sort of punishment for such a little thing, and where I would actually get points for letting my inner Viking rage out! :O) and kickboxing seemed to be THE thing for me!
Another thing is “Glìma” an ancient Viking wrestling, THAT is really something that would speed up the exitement — and you fight both women and men!! Try it!

Martial arts are cool and all, but I go for SCA heavy fighting. Female Knights rock! Here in West Kingdom, a highly respected female fighter just became our Crown Princess and will be our Queen in January. (Sure, her consort one it for her, but that is beside the point.)
… I guess you’d kind of have to be a SCAdian in the West to fully understand.
