I just want you all to know what I’m working to create here, and how I see things!
I am not a woman who is going to tell you that to be strong or tough or resilient that you have to give up your femininity.
Women can be pretty and still kick ass! They can still allow a gentleman to open a door for them or buy them a dinner and not take it personally as an insult, because they know that opening doors or who buys what has nothing to do with how strong and independent she is.
( I mean really, it gives cheuvenism a whole new twist hey? The female cheuvenist. And if that offends you then you are very insecure about your ability to be strong and independent. That’s how I see it. I never claimed this was going to be “politically correct.”)
This is a site dedicated to assisting women get a bigger picture about what is possible for them when they own their power, including the warrior in themselves.
If we all know how to access that power and strength, and learn to use well, we can protect ourselves from Domestic Violence, Rape, Abuse, etc.
The mama can protect her cubs.
Women can truely be safe and independent. How independent are you when you count on others to keep you safe?
Yes, safety is a big part of the message. Rape and abuse is far to wide spread to not address the benefit that owning your inner warrior provides against it.
The site is not only about that though, it is also simply about a woman’s ability to be whole and strong in normal life as well, that we have in us the strength to deal with the challenges that we face in life.
Whether it be being confined to a wheel chair, dealing with cancer or other illness, the challenges of raising children in todays society, healing from abuse, and more!
We are strong. We are able.
We are whole.
